Privacy Isn't What You Think: It's Your Time They're Stealing
Privacy protects two things: Your TIME and Your TRUTH.
Everyone talks about privacy like it's about passwords and encryption. They're wrong.
Privacy is about TIME.
The Three Questions
In Morocco, when someone proposes something, people ask three questions in Arabic:
- WHY?
- HOW?
- FOR WHAT?
If you can't answer these three questions, you're wasting your time.
So let me ask YOU: Why do you care about privacy? How does losing it hurt you? For what purpose should you protect it?
Most people answer: "To protect my data."
Wrong answer.
What Privacy Really Protects
Privacy protects two things that matter more than your credit card number:
Your TIME - Every app, every social network, every "free" service is engineered to steal your attention. Not your data. Your ATTENTION. Your time. Your life.
Your TRUTH - Our eyes see truth. Always. They cannot lie. But our ears hear emotions. Our hearts feel emotions. And emotions can be manipulated.
When you scroll through social media for hours, your eyes see nothing real. Your ears hear manufactured stories. Your heart feels engineered emotions. The truth disappears.
Mathematics Doesn't Lie
In mathematics, in code, things are binary: 0 or 1. True or false. There's no "sort of private" or "mostly secure."
Companies say they respect your privacy. Then they collect your data. These two statements cannot both be true. It's mathematically impossible.
Either they respect your privacy (1) or they don't (0). They chose 0. They just lie about it.
What We're Losing
The elderly. The people who actually LIVED. Who saw history with their own eyes.
We ignore them now in 2025. We're too busy watching 30-second videos. Too busy scrolling. Too busy being "efficient."
This is the greatest loss. Not your browsing history. Your connection to real wisdom. Real experience. Real truth witnessed by real eyes.
People have become lazy. They want the shortest possible video. No one wants to understand the ROOT anymore. The SOURCE. The foundation.
They want the summary. The hack. The shortcut.
And companies exploit this. They feed you junk. Fast. Easy. Addictive. While they collect everything about you.
The AI Trap
Here's what people don't understand about AI:
Allah created us. We created AI. Not the other way around.
AI is not smarter than humans. It cannot be. We built it.
But companies want you to believe AI is superior. Why? So you trust machines more than your own eyes. Your own judgment. Your own humanity.
They use AI to collect maximum DATA. To program you. To predict you. To control you.
They say it's to "serve you better." This is the same lie as "we respect your privacy."
What This Means For Our Children
I want my children to TRAVEL. To SEE with their own eyes. To experience real truth, not manufactured stories.
Documentary filmmaking matters because it shows what eyes actually saw. Not what algorithms want you to believe.
But fewer people watch documentaries now. Only the intelligent ones. The ones who still want DEPTH over SPEED.
Everyone else? Trapped in 15-second loops. Their time stolen. Their truth replaced with engineered emotions.
The Real Cybersecurity
Cybersecurity isn't just about firewalls and VPNs.
It's about protecting your ability to think. To see clearly. To use your own eyes instead of trusting what screens tell you.
The biggest security breach isn't your password getting leaked. It's losing hours, days, years of your life to platforms designed to steal your attention.
What Actually Matters
Tools matter. Yes. Knowing which tools to use, how to use them, how to optimize them.
But the real question is: FOR WHAT?
If you use the "best" encrypted messaging app but spend six hours a day on social media, you've already lost. You've protected the data while giving away your TIME.
And time is the only thing you cannot get back.
The Truth Is Simple
Big companies use AI to collect maximum information about you. They say it's to program better services.
But another part uses this data AGAINST you. Against humans. They do not respect your privacy. They never did.
The solution isn't complicated:
- Ask WHY, HOW, FOR WHAT before giving your time to anything
- Use your eyes to see truth, not your ears to hear manufactured stories
- Protect your TIME more fiercely than your passwords
- Listen to the elderly who actually lived and saw
- Choose depth over speed
- Remember: You created the tools. Don't let them control you.
Privacy is freedom. Not from being watched. From being stolen.
Your data matters less than your time. Your time matters less than your ability to see truth. And truth only comes from your own eyes.
